Harry Potter and The Walking Dead

My game is based upon "For the Queen" and the conversational nature helping the players develop their own world, plot lines, and interesting relationships between characters. Combining two of my favorite franchises with completely different characters and storylines, allows the players to expand their horizons and create a completely new universe. The prompt card style of the game allows the players to make conversation and discover the relationships between each character, however, to make the game more interesting and fun, I've added an aspect of the battle, where the player's character has a chance to fail or succeed, as well as a way for players to develop a strategy. Inspired by Lumen, I've added cards amongst the prompt cards, enabling the characters to go into battle with Zombies and deal with conflict, in which playing cards and calculations are used to determine winning or losing and each character's points. At the end of the plot they have created, there is an aspect of chance, in whether their characters succeed in their journey or not, allowing for players to play the game again until their characters succeed. This may complicate things, however, that is the point, to move the game beyond just conversation and into a complex cornucopia of fun and exhilaration. Read the rules carefully, follow the cards, allow the conversation to flow, keep jotting down all your calculations, and get lost in the magical and terrifying world you create.
